Financial Viability

Everybody Gets Paid—Except You

You’re seeing kiddos.

Your team is busy.

Money is coming in.

So why are you still sweating payroll, moving bills around and wondering when the heck you get to pay yourself?

That is the question.

A practice can look busy and still not be financially healthy.

And sometimes the answer is not one giant fix.

Sometimes it’s improving a little in several different areas—and watching those small improvements add up to a very big difference.

Financial Viability helps you look at the numbers that directly affect revenue, identify where money may be getting stuck or leaking out and figure out what needs to improve.

Because being busy does not necessarily equate to making income.

Who Financial Viability Is For

Financial Viability is for pediatric private practice owners who:

  • Struggle to consistently pay bills on time
  • Can’t afford to pay themselves or pay themselves what they should
  • Have a busy practice but still feel cash-strapped
  • Know revenue could be stronger but aren’t sure where the problem is
  • Want to understand which practice numbers have the biggest financial impact
  • Would like to get better at running their practice
  • Need to achieve profitability without immediately resorting to one giant, dramatic change
  • Want a clearer picture of whether the practice is actually financially healthy

You don’t necessarily need to overhaul the whole practice.

You may need to find the five, six or seven places where a little improvement can add up to a lot more money.

A Little Better in Several Places Can Add Up Fast

Let’s say your arrival rate improves.

Your schedule gets a little tighter.

Collections improve.

You onboard another clinician.

Referrals increase.

Expenses get better controlled.

None of those changes alone may feel earth-shattering.

Together?

Now you may have a very different financial picture.

That is one of the biggest ideas behind Financial Viability.

You are not always looking for one magical answer.

You are looking at all the places that affect revenue and asking:

Where are we now?

Where should we be?

And what happens financially if we improve this?

Because a little better here, a little better there and a little better somewhere else can add up to a whole lot better on the bottom line.

More Revenue Is Only Half the Story

You can bring in more money and still have a financial problem.

Why?

Because expenses matter too.

Hiring matters.

Expansion matters.

Your net rate matters.

What you collect matters.

Financial Viability is not simply about generating more revenue.

It is about understanding what is actually making the practice financially stronger—and what is not.

Because there is no prize for increasing revenue when your expenses are increasing even faster.

What You Walk Away With

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear picture of the numbers driving your practice’s financial health
  • A full understanding of where revenue may be getting lost or delayed
  • Specific areas to improve to become more viable
  • Greater clarity around revenue, collections, expenses and profitability
  • A practical, proven plan for making the practice more financially viable

In plain English: you’ll know what’s bringing money in, what’s draining it out and what to change so the practice can pay its bills, pay you and become financially viable.

How Financial Viability Works

Financial Viability is one of our programettes—a smaller, affordable coaching program that is focused and designed to give you a lot of value without requiring a ton of time, energy and money.

Financial Viability typically takes nine hours of one-on-one accountability coaching with the practice owner on Zoom.

The schedule is flexible and based on your practice’s needs. If you don’t complete the program within the initial nine hours, additional coaching is available in five-hour increments.

Learn from a Practice Owner Who’s Been in Your Shoes

Financial Viability is delivered by Diane Crecelius, PT, and Founder of ABC Pediatric Therapy.

Diane built her practice from the ground up and grew it to more than 3,000 visits a week with over 200 staff members. She ultimately sold the company for maximum value, setting her and her family up for life.

She knows firsthand that a busy practice isn’t necessarily a financially healthy one. Strong revenue means very little if expenses are eating it up, cash is tight and the owner still can’t afford to pay herself properly.

Diane understands how to look beyond one number, uncover where money is being lost and strengthen the different areas that determine whether a practice is truly profitable, stable and financially viable.

In addition to her business achievements, Diane is known for her role as Peds-A-Palooza® Community & Conferences Co-Creator.

Financial Viability’s Ultimate Outcome

The goal is not simply to bring in more money.

The goal is to build a practice that can consistently pay its bills, pay its owner and have enough financial strength to keep moving forward.

Financial Viability helps you identify the numbers that matter, see where improvement is possible and understand how small gains across the practice can add up to a much healthier bottom line.

You will know what needs attention.

You will know what can improve.

Instead of just hoping there is enough money at the end of the month, you’ll have a much clearer idea of what drives the financial health of the practice.

Tired of Wondering Where the Money Went?

A busy practice shouldn’t leave you constantly wondering whether there is enough cash to pay everyone—including yourself.

Let’s look at the numbers, find the opportunities and figure out where several small improvements could make a very big difference.
